Dear Mr. President,
The 88 Generation Students would like to extend our deepest condolences
to the people and Government of the United States in the wake of the
damages and losses caused by the Sandy mega storm.
We are deeply saddened to receive the news about the devastating floods and human casualties caused by the storm.
As the damage continues, we wish to express our sympathies to the
victims’ families and to all the American people whom have suffered and
are continuing to suffer throughout this tragedy.
After suffering
through the worst disaster in the history of Myanmar, Cyclone Nagis in
2008, we understand the rehabilitation process in the aftermath of such a
devastating event will constitute a complex challenge. However, we are
confident that the American people, as you have done in the past, will
overcome these trying times and soon begin the process of recovery and
reconstruction.
Our thoughts, loving kindness and prayers are with you all.
